Welcoming Zia Daniell Wigder back to Hyve as Global President, Connected Commerce

We’re thrilled to announce that Zia Daniell Wigder has rejoined Hyve as Global President, Connected Commerce, a new division uniting Shoptalk, Groceryshop, POSSIBLE, and Manifest into one powerful portfolio. Her return marks a pivotal moment as we create a stronger platform for customers, helping them connect across the entire commerce journey, from marketing to customer experience, and from merchandising to the final mile of delivery.

Why this matters.

Over the past two years, we’ve expanded our portfolio significantly, acquiring POSSIBLE, the must-attend event for marketing and advertising, and Manifest, the blockbuster logistics and supply chain show. Together with Shoptalk and Groceryshop, these brands represent the most influential gatherings across the commerce ecosystem.

We’ve also seen something powerful happening: customers are no longer engaging with just one event. Industry leaders like Google, WholeFoods and Foot Locker are attending, speaking, and exhibiting across multiple shows, looking for deeper, year-round connections that span from marketing campaigns to customer experience, and from merchandising to the final mile of delivery.

By bringing these events together under the Connected Commerce banner, we are creating a stronger platform for growth, innovation, and, most importantly, value for our customers.

Zia is uniquely positioned to lead this new chapter.

As one of the original shapers of Shoptalk, she defined the inaugural agenda, brought in more than 225 industry leaders (including 150 CEOs), and helped expand the brand to Europe and into grocery with the launch of Groceryshop.

She understands our customers, our industries, and our ambitions like no one else. Since leaving Hyve in 2020, Zia has spent the last five years as Chief Content Officer at eMarketer, deepening her expertise and network across retail, brands, agencies, and technology partners. Now, as she returns to lead this new portfolio, she brings unrivalled experience, senior relationships, and the vision we need to accelerate Connected Commerce.

Under Zia’s leadership, Connected Commerce will:

  • Build deeper partnerships with the world’s leading companies
  • Deliver more integrated and consistent customer experiences
  • Continue to shape the value of connections that only B2B events can deliver 

We’re also preparing for some exciting milestones ahead, including the 10-year anniversary of Shoptalk in 2026 and the launch of Shoptalk Luxe in Abu Dhabi in January 2026.

This is an incredibly exciting moment for our brands and the communities we serve. We are thrilled to welcome Zia back, and we can’t wait to see how she helps shape the next decade of innovation and collaboration in commerce.
