We’re excited to announce that we’ve acquired Behavioral Health Tech, which brings together the largest and most forward-thinking community of behavioral health payors, health systems, providers, digital health innovators, government leaders, and funders in the U.S.
This marks our fourth acquisition in the last 12 months, and with it, we’re proud to enter the specialist behavioural health space whilst deepening our presence in healthcare and building on our acquisition of HLTH last year.
Today’s news delivers further progress against our GO27 strategy, our three-year plan for growth and optimisation, and reinforces our ambition to be the #1 home for the world’s most exciting, industry-defining events.
Why BHT? Why now?
We’ve had our eye on behavioural health for a while. It’s one of the most dynamic and urgent sectors globally – where innovation, access, and collaboration make a real difference. And BHT is at its epicentre. Founded in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, it answered the call for deeper connection and faster innovation at a moment of crisis.
Under the passionate leadership of Solome Tibebu, BHT has become the go-to forum for the U.S. behavioural health ecosystem. What started as a virtual gathering has grown into a powerful, year-round community; one that unites thousands of leaders and organisations committed to transforming behavioural health.
When we met Solome, we saw that same founder fire we admire: the vision, the drive, the personal connection. It felt like a natural fit.
As our CEO Mark Shashoua put it:

A perfect fit for our growing healthcare portfolio.
BHT now joins our global healthcare portfolio, sitting alongside HLTH US, HLTH Europe and ViVE.
The event which Solome and her team have built is already a cornerstone of its industry:
- BHT drew over 2,000 delegates in 2024, and we expect attendance to grow by 25% this year.
- It’s already trusted by blue-chip brands like Microsoft, Salesforce, and McDonald's to help them find the right solutions for their businesses.
- Leading solutions and platforms such as BetterHelp, Headspace, several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Healthnet, Grow Therapy and WeightWatchers all participate.
- Its content programme is not to be missed with celebrity names like Paris Hilton headlining in 2024 and industry titans such as Amazon’s Director of Health Benefits confirmed as a speaker at the next event.
Investing in BHT's growth.
Solome will continue to lead the brand into its next chapter, and we can’t wait to support her every step of the way.
Looking ahead, we’ll collaborate with Solome and her team to implement the things we know work — from our centralised best practices to our hosted meeting programmes, set to launch for BHT in 2026. We also see clear opportunities to scale the brand globally, using our proven geo-cloning playbook.
As Solome shared:

The next Behavioral Health Tech will take place in San Diego, California, from November 11th-13th, 2025.
