In honor of the valuable contributions made by Chinese exhibitors and agents to the success of Hyve events in 2023, an exclusive party was hosted on 10th January at the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun by the ISOBJ team. Hyve’s Beijng and Shanghai teams brought together over 100 key exhibitors and agents from China for a memorable evening.
Hyve’s Regional Director, Thomas Whelan opened the event by sharing the key highlights from 2023 and how Hyve will drive further value creation in 2024 as a strategic partner.

In 2023, Hyve launched its Sourcing Proposition to bring together manufacturers with buyers and procurement professionals who are looking for new suppliers, creating the European gateway to UK and European retail.
The importance of trade with China cannot be understated. It comes as no surprise that over 70% of the worlds fashion is manufactured in China, and over 50% of all home and gift products on sale in UK stores are manufactured in China.
In 2024, Hyve’s Sourcing Division aims to double in size, a fantastic growth trajectory that can only be continued through the power of these partnerships and connections.
The event was also an opportunity to harness in-person connections. Engaging in an interactive session, attendees had the opportunity to reflect on their accomplishments in 2023 and exchanged thoughts on their aspirations for the upcoming 2024 event cycle.
