Louise, a cherished former colleague of many of the Hyve family, played an instrumental role in shaping the success of some of our most loved events including launching Pure London and running and reimagining Spring and Autumn Fair for over 25 years. Louise's visionary guidance, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the shows’ customers can still be felt today not just at our events, but across UK business.
In 2018, Louise passed the baton to Julie Driscoll, now Hyve's Executive Vice President, who, with humility, acknowledges the enormity of the legacy she inherited, saying:
Julie's sentiments echo those of all who had the privilege of working with Louise.
Mark Shashoua, Hyve's CEO, added:
As we remember Louise, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew her. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. Louise's passing is a profound loss to our industry, but she leaves behind an enormous legacy that will continue to inspire and shape the future of our events, as well as independent businesses and women in leadership.
Her memory will forever live on in the vibrant spirit of the events she helped to build, and in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
