Hy, my name is Duncan

Meet Duncan Verry, Portfolio Director for Hyve’s EdTech events: Bett Asia, Bett UK, Bett Brasil, and the ASU+GSV Summit in the US.

His career began in recruitment before moving into education – where he discovered a passion that led him to run an EdTech startup and, ultimately, to leading some of the most influential education events. That experience has shaped his belief that "it's very difficult for one person to change the world, but you can change the world for one person very easily."

Off the back of Bett Asia 2025, that belief continues to resonate – brought to life through educators, innovators and technology leaders who came together to accelerate learning, share ideas, and spark change across the region.
