Every six months, we recognise colleagues from across our global business who have embodied the Hyve values of brilliant work, fresh thinking, rich connections, and collective buzz. It’s an opportunity for us to reward their incredible contributions which have impacted our events, industries, communities and culture.

For our second Hy Five celebration of 2023, we flew our global winners to New York for two days of fun, networking, learning and celebrations.

The winners prize included:

  • A 5-star stay at NoMad hotel
  • An exclusive pizza making class
  • Ice skating at the Rockefeller Center
  • A helicopter ride overseeing some of the Big Apple’s most iconic views
  • A learning and development masterclass hosted by MindGym
  • Dinner with our CEO, Mark Shashoua and our Executive team at Ci Samo
  • And finally, to end their extraordinary trip, the winners watched the New York Rangers vs. Detroit Red Wings at Madison Square Gardens

Here’s what some of our global winners had to say when returning from their trip:

“The Hy Five programme shows that hard work doesn’t only get noticed at Hyve, but it is celebrated with style,” commented Project Coordinator, Dilara Susur when asked what becoming a winner meant to her.

Kas Asif, Global Payroll and Benefits Manager added, “Hyve knows how to recognise hard work and the Hy Five experience is proof. It was a truly unforgettable experience meeting all the global winners and sharing these special moments.”

Lucy The Hy Five reward programme at Hyve is truly unique and I have never encountered such an initiative in any other workplace. When it comes to employee recognition, I believe Hyve stands unparalleled and sets its own standards.

For Lucy Hurry, Head of Sponsorship Logistics it was filled with bucket list moments and another city ticked off her travel list:

“It was my first time in New York, so to have experienced all I did, definitely made it memorable. To have had the opportunities and encouragement to try new things was amazing; ice skating at Rockafella, a Helicopter ride and pizza making. I will be forever grateful for this reward!”

When asked what it meant to become a winner Operations Manager, Madson Granato commented: “It was incredible to be recognised for my delivery and work on Bett Brasil 2023. It was one of the most memorable moments of my professional and personal life.”

For Jasmin and Hannah it was an opportunity to build connections with colleagues from global offices, “Thank you to Hyve Group for continuing to invest in its people. I’m honoured to have won the Hy Five award, but it was made even more special by the memories made with my colleagues,” said Hannah Gilding, VP, Logistics.

Jasmin We had a great learning and development session that provided us with an opportunity to hear different perspectives. It was really encouraging to hear how other people managers were learning and growing with their teams. I now feel more connected to Hyve and feel that I can reach out to colleagues from this group in the future with questions and ideas.
