2023: A year of organic growth and innovation

As we bid farewell to 2023, we reflect on a year of strong organic growth, future-proofing innovation and giving back to our communities.
Mark Our success in 2023 is a testament to the determination, creativity, and skill of the entire Hyve team across the world. At the start of the year, we set out our long-term ambition to redefine our events for today’s world and I’m delighted to say we made great progress. In addition to delivering seven new meetings programmes across our portfolio, including at Shoptalk where we facilitated more than 50,000 meetings over three days, we launched an array of brand-new tech-enabled products for 2024 including Table Talks and Tech Labs.

Strong organic growth.

2023 saw Hyve achieve a remarkable 35% like-for-like organic growth. This achievement reflects Hyve’s dedication to delivering unprecedented value to customers in ever-more-innovative ways. Customers are delighted, with average delegate NPS scores reaching +25 (vs. the industry average of –17).

Creating more value for customers.

Return on our customers’ time and investment is becoming increasingly important, and digitisation is at the heart of improving this. Hyve is disrupting the conventional norms of events, and leading a digital transformation that redefines the traditional experience. By introducing groundbreaking products such as Table Talks, Co-located events, and Tech User Labs, Hyve is developing a formula which takes the luck out of events, and ensures customers make the connections that could change everything.

Hyve’s flagship tech-enabled product, its large-scale meetings programmes, grew substantially in 2023, with more than 150,000 meetings facilitated across the year and more than 90% of those rated positively by customers.

A sustainable future, one initiative at a time.

2023 was also a year of giving back - from funding meaningful community projects, such as building a safe and dignified school for children in Cape Town, to a partnership with London-based social mobility charity Making the Leap. Progress was also made with regards to sustainability, with the roll out of Carbon Literacy Project accredited training and innovative trials including reusable staging and banning single-use signage, with more planned for next year.

In store for 2024.

Looking ahead, 2024 will see more innovation and purpose-driven experiences, supported by a steadfast commitment to people, sustainability and community.

Mark Our commitment to our disruptive strategy, sustained growth, and the introduction of innovative products remains unwavering. Above all, our North Star is providing game-changing opportunities to our customers, that deliver return on their time and investment, and we will double-down on this purpose in 2024 to offer more value from events than ever.
